America’s enfant terrible is at it again, trashing women of color, alienating friends and foes alike. It’s better than a reality show except the only people walking away with prizes are corporations, weapons manufacturers and soup companies. Not sure how those who voted him into office feel as he gives away the farm...
Meanwhile in Paris, the yellow vests are into week #35 of protests. So far over 2,000 protesters and 1500 police have been injured , including 24 monocular blindness and one person still in coma. The Macron government caved in to many of the protesters’ demands but not without a fight.
Across the channel, Brexit is barely breathing, thanks to a lot of smoke and mirrors designed to confuse the people into forgetting that they wanted out of the EU...the elites delusions of EU grandeur might have to wait...
Lao Tzu once said when “a nation is in chaos then good leaders appear.” We’re praying for the appearance of good leaders — the world is really in need of good leaders. When the good people lose heart and vacate the public arena, then tyrants fill the void. Evil flourishes in a vacuum.
Democracy isn’t for free — political freedom comes at a price. The elites don’t need or even want democracy. They have all the freedom that money can buy. Democracy has to be enforced on the government by the will of the people, sometimes by their votes and sometimes by their protests.
